Foresight President Efrat Kasznik gave a presentation titled “Financial Modeling & Business Valuation for Start-ups“ at the Women StartUp Lab‘s Co -Office Day held at Procopio Law.

The talk focused on financial planning and valuation techniques for early stage start-ups. Ms. Kasznik shared her experience as a start-up CFO and reviewed bootstrapping techniques for stretching dollars to the maximum. Ms. Kasznik highlighted the most common revenue models and cost structures associated with the formation of a new venture, and how to structure a reliable and realistic financial model over a 3-5 year period for business plans and investor fundraising.   She went over the principals of business valuation for fundraising and how to prepare financial pitches to investors.
