Services provided: Creation of an IP “road map” for a residential
energy efficiency start-up, aligning its innovations with its business
model and prioritizing patent filing opportunities. Facilitation of patent
applications (collaborating with a patent prosecution legal partner).
Transfer Pricing Valuation, Telecommunications Start-Up
Services provided: Fair market value appraisal of a portfolio of patents,
trademarks, know-how and other intangibles held by a
telecommunications equipment maker, for purposes of transfer among
foreign affiliates in support of the company’s tax planning and
reporting.
