Efrat Kasznik, President
An intellectual property (IP) and valuation expert, with more than 15 years of management and litigation consulting expertise, Efrat Kasznik has led complex valuation and litigation engagements for businesses ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups.
Efrat teaches a class on IP Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) to Stanford MBAs, and is a frequent speaker and author on Intellectual Property valuation and strategy issues.
Working across a diverse range of industries— automotive, aerospace,
telecommunications, industrial chemicals, software, hardware and
entertainment— she performs business valuations and valuations of
intangible assets for situations such as mergers and acquisitions,
financial reporting, technology commercialization decisions, tax
compliance, transfer pricing and litigation damages.
Prior to founding FVG, Efrat was Senior Vice President with ICMG, a
consulting firm specializing in intellectual asset management, where
she led the valuation practice, working with corporations such as
Disney, Boeing and Nissan. She moved on to become a Director with
LECG (NASDQ: XPRT), a global management consulting firm, where
she was recruited to create a new practice area focused on Intellectual
Asset Management. After leaving LECG, Efrat co-founded Ennovationz,
a residential energy efficiency consulting firm specializing in
developing analytical energy models.
Her background also includes accounting and financial management
positions, including serving as Chief Financial Officer at AcrossWorld
Communications, a Silicon Valley start-up engaged in building global
data communication networks. She received her MBA from the
University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Accounting and
Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
